Here you go
At the hospital, we've waited for four hours in the waiting room.
''You may come in to see Andrew,'' the doctor said.
Andrew had several stitches, a broken leg and a broken arm.
''you'll be okay Andrew. Just go back to sleep,'' I say.
He nods and slowly slept as mom sang him a lullaby. I go out of the room before tears burst. I turn my head to the right and saw Mike. He looked surprised seeing me and he quickly looked away. I walk towards him and sat down next to him. He was crying.
''Why are you here? Who's sick? You never told me about anything,'' I ask.
''My dad'' he replies,''Look, I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I was afraid you'll be worried''.
I hugged him and said that I had o leave to see my brother
Now my dad comes. With Rachel,his assistant.
''Where's Andrew? How is he?'' he asked.
I didn't say anything, I just pointed to Andrew's door. I looked mad at Rachel but she just walked away. I looked over at Mike. You know, most of the times, you DON'T get what you want. |

Chapter 13
Could it be Rachel? The lady my dad is doing out with? It can't be. She looks like a model. She's about triple Andrew's size and she is much thinner than me-even thinner than Stephie. She must weigh about 25kg or something and she must wear a size 0.
Three days later. Andrew is out of hospital. He has crutches and a bandage round his head. He limped to me and fell on the couch.
''So how are you and Mike?'' he asked.
''How did you know about us?'' I asked back.
''I read your diary!'' he laughed and started coughing.
I pat him on the back and he stopped. I went upstairs to get my diary and write something, but the phone in my room rang.I picked it up.
Vicki was crying and I couldn't stop her.
''Cassie. My cat died. I really miss her!'' She sobbed.
'' Calm down Vicki. How did this happen? When?'' I asked.
''Last night. *cry*. I think my dad overfed her when I went for my science trip. I'm really sad. I've raised my Isabelle for four years!''She explained.
I'm not really a good adviser. I told her to calm down and get her mind off Isabelle, her cat. Surprisingly, she said that was good advise and hung up.
I had problems of my own. Since Andrew couldn't walk properly, I had to do everything he says. Life is unfair! |
